N REPLY to Mr Johnston's letter -Not Backing Leyland"
(CM, December 29, 1979), we as a commercial vehicles sales force get a first-rate backing from Leyland and in turn we pass the same on to our customers.
If the T45 is half as good as Mr D. Mallinson (CM, December 8, 1979) thinks it will be, then. we will be able to sell this vehicle with no trouble whatsoever. Our customers, consisting of many fleet owners and owner-drivers, will be able to carry on with confidence enjoying first-class comfortable motors with first class back-up service.
Our advice to anyone thinking of buying the T45 or any Leyland vehicle would be to come and talk to someone who really knows about them instead of listening to "escaping hot air" comments from antiLeyland and anti-British critics.
