Germany's road toil system, has had its contract with the government cancelled following a litany of problems.
Manfred Stolpe, Germany's transport minister, told the three companies involved DaimlerChrysler, Deutsche Telekom and Cofiroute -that their contract was at an end after they failed to get the system running after 13 months of delays.
However. Stolpe is obliged to give the consortium two months to come up with a new plan, which will also help recoup some of the lost revenue. industry insiders believe this is unlikely
