Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SERIAL GRIMSBY arsonist Darren Wringe has been jailed for 10 years after starting a fire which killed a helpless lorry driver.

He was with his best friend when he lit the blaze close to one of the parked HGV's tyres. It was the third time Wringe had been convicted of being involved in starting fires, a court heard (CM 5 February).

Sleeping driver Derek Bailey had no chance to escape before his cab erupted in flames. He had parked overnight at the Homebase yard in Victoria Street North, Grimsby. on 25 June last year.

Wringe denied manslaughter, but was convicted by a jury at Hull Crown Court last month after an eight-day trial.

The judge.MriusticeTugendhat. had adjourned sentence on Wringe for a psychiatric report.

He told Wringe at the resumed hearing at Sheffield Crown Court: "It was obvious that the fire would endanger the life of the driver who was in the cab and there was good reason to expect that he was in the cab because the curtains had been drawn across the windows."

The judge added: "You have shown no remorse at all, nor any understanding of the seriousness of what happened.

"This indicates an increased likelihood of you reoffending. This is a very serious case of manslaughter. "No sentence this court can pass will bring Mr Bailey back to his family and friends."
