THE HOUSE of Commons tram port committee suspended on hearings of its protracted inqt iry into transport in Londoi pending the House of Lord: judgment on the rates-subs dised fares policy of the Greate London Council.
Two hearings were held in pr vate, but because of public ir terest in the evidence to be give by the GLC, London Transport British Rail, and LT and BR chair men Sir Peter Masefield and Si Peter Parker, these have beer postponed until next year.
