NEWLY FORMED container haulier BF International hopes to post a first full ye turnover of some Elm after revealin revenues of nearly £500,000 revenue fi the first five months of its financial year.

South Wales-based BAT Internation was established in July 2009, and joint M Tony Yeo tells CMthat since 1 April, the fin has recorded revenue of £452,747. wt this figure expected to top £1rn when tt financial year ends on 31 March 2011.

In the Glamorgan haulier's first, s months of trading between Septemb 2009 and 31 March 2010, it recorded turnover of £444,000 and pre-tax profit £25,000. The business is the brainchild Yeo and fellow joint MD Tony Rosser. Y( says: "Starting any company during a r cession could be a risk. However, we se this as an opportunity."

The firm now has an eight-strong fle and 11 employees, compared to when started with two HGVs.
