LEYLAND International has landed bus chassis orders worth more than E2 million from New Zealand.
Wellington Transport Authority has ordered 62 Leopard single-deck chassis worth 000,000 and Christchurch Transport Authority is to take 72 Bristol RE LL single-deck chassis valued at El 1/4 million.
Delivery will start in the second half of next year.
The vehicles will be exported checked and assembled by Leyland distributors, New Zealand Motor Corporation. The bodies will be produced locally.
