LOGISTICS INDUSTRY charity Transaid has been presented with a specially commissioned refrigerated Schmitz Cargobull trailer to rase money for sub-Saharan Africa.
The multi-temperature reefer, fitted with a Carrier refrigeration unit, will be operated by Wincanton. The logistics company will use the trailer on one of its main routes for a year and will donate the rental value — expected to be more than El 0,000—to Tran said .
The trailer, built at Schmitz's Harelaw plant near Newcastle, is decorated in Transaid decals.
