Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Quicksilver truck lining, developed and proven as the market leader by Poly Hi Solidur in the US, is now available in the UK.

Manufactured from one of the toughest polymers known to man, optimised to achieve a super slick surface, Quicksilver encourages full release of loads at lower angles, even in freezing conditions. It has been extensively tested to —80°C with no deterioration. At the other end of the scale it can handle hot asphalt up to 180°C, having the dual advantages of keeping the load hotter for longer and ensuring easy release from the truck.

Safety is rapidly becoming a key issue in the tipper industry. Accidents can and do happen when loads become hung up in the bed, forcing greater tipping angles in order to ensure release. Quicksilver' has no moisture absorbency. This feature, coupled with an extremely low co-efficient of friction, allows full release at much lower angles and thereby eliminating the risk of tip-over.

The nil moisture absorbency also helps with the growing problem of cross contamination between loads. A wash-down from the previous load and the operator is then ready to handle the next with confidence.

Quicksilver' is light — weighing around Z.th the weight of mild steel, yet its abrasion resistance is greater than that of 304 stainless steel! It preserves the integrity of the original truck body, and can be retrofitted.

Fitting is relatively easy, on all kinds of equipment including dump trailers, dump bodies, bottom dumps, gravel trains and transfer trailers. Fastenings are kept to a minimum and side-fitted guide strips allow for movement of the liner due to changes in temperature.
