Co. Ltd: for the transfer of two eightwheeled tippers from C to Contract A licence, to work for a local company, was granted by the South Wales Licensing Authority at Cardiff last week.

-I he company operates five vehicles, one of which has been on contract to Cromwell Co. (Newport) Ltd. for four years and the applicant sought to have two more on contract. Mr. D..1, Evans, director of Tredegar Hatilage, said he was satisfied that the vehicles would be in continuous employment for at least one year and that there was a need.

The sales manager of Cromwell, Mr. R. Wheeler, supporting the application, said his firm had voluntarily entered into a contract with Tredegar Haulage. There were no objectors.
