Barrel Stacker nRUMS weighing up to 700 lb. can be lifted to heights of 4 ft. 8 in. or 5 ft, 10 in. using the two models of Vertolifter barrel stacker produced by Powell and Co., Burry Port, Carms. The Vertolifter, which is hand-propelled on two wheels and two castors, is equipped with tubular lifting forks on which a detachable platform can be mounted f,-si lifting items other than drums.

The lifting action is performed by a two-speed hand-operated hydraulic pump or by a mainsor battery-powered electric motor. Barrel racks to hold 6 or 9 drums are offered for use with the stacker.

Portable Tachometer A FIFTH model has been added to

Known as the ATH.24, the instrument covers speeds up to 4,000 r.p.m. It will record, by means of a pointer locking device, rotational linear and surface speeds to a claimed accuracy of plus or minus 1 per cent.
