THE programme of the next session of the London Division of the Industrial Transport Association includes the following papers:— October 20: "Construction, Uses and Care of Tyrcs."—Mr. R. Hill, Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd.
November 17: "The Future of Road Haulage."--Mr. R. Morton Mitchell. Road Haulage Association.
December 15: The Functions of a Traffic Department in a Police Force."-Supt., H. W. Gilder, Essex County Constabulary.
February 16: " Transport Law."--Mr. T. H. Campbell Wardlaw.
April 26: "The Transport Ferry Service, with particular relationship to the European Free Market."—Mr. G. A. Ashley, Atlantic Steam Navigation Co., Ltd.
The papers. will be read at the Royal Society of Arts, London, W.C.2, at 6.30 p.m. The annual dinner will be held at the Criterion Restaurant, London, W.1, on November 5, and the annual general meeting on March 15 at Caxton Hall. London, S.W.1.
