Purfieet, Essex-based Scania distributor Scantruck is building new premises which are due for completion during the first quarter of next year. The replacement site is just a few minutes' drive down the Arterial Road. It will feature a 14-bay workshop, a two-bay test centre and five specialised bays for chemical and Pet-Reg work.
"I believe it will be the largest Sonia service centre in Europe," says managing director Martin Hay. "In addition there will be an extensive parts department and the premises will house our new and used vehicle sales departments and administration staff."
