I/ The dispute which has been stopping hauliers at the ItalianAustrian border looks set to continue, at least until the weekend. EC Transport Commissioner Karel van Miert has condemned Italy for being "anti-Communitaire".
Europe's transport ministers are likely to discuss the problem when they meet in Luxembourg on 30 October.
