Coach costs • The Bus and Coach Council has published a 25-page booklet, Costing your Coach for Profit. Explains the booklet: It gives examples of depreciation calculation, costing labour charges and explains how to turn costing figures into a price.

New map • The 1987 edition of

Britain's best selling road atlas was launched last week. It is the 1987 Ordnance Survey Motoring Atlas in large page format, scale 1.9km to lOmm (3 miles to 1 inch). It costs £4.25_ Buyer's Guide • The tenth edition of Christopher Mann's Commercial Vehicle Buyer's Guide is about to be published by Kogan Page.

It lists weights, dimensions, specifications and prices for commercial vehicles, from carderived vans right through to 38-tonne GCW tractive units. It also includes special vehicles such as dump trucks, fire engines and other municipal chassis. The last section of the book is a list of manufacturers, dealers and ancillary equipment manufacturers.
