• Mercedes has released more details on the Sprinter van to be launched in February next year.
Variable-geometry turbochargers will be used in some engine options and buyers will also be able to specify an automated version of the Sprinter's five-speed manual transmission.
Oil-change intervals are to be increased to 22,500km or every two years with more flexible service intervals from 22,500km to 40,000km.
Other additions for the face-lifted Sprinter include common rail injection engine options up to 154hp and a dash-mounted gear lever.
