The Russians will host the )80 Olympic Games, and xt year they are to build an 850-room hotel to house the iletes. Everything from ,orknobs to waiters' jackets II be shipped by the French nsortium who are supplying e equipment from Paris.
In all there will be 2000 lorry loads and planned, as you might expect, down to the last detail.
My informant tells me road transport was chosen because the hauliers were able to quote guaranteed delivery times and the ability of the Russians to control the road journeys.
There's one small snag, no return loads. Suggestion: why not sell the vehicles in M oscow?
