Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ASTARTING torque that is double the full-load torque is provided by a new low-current induction motor produced by Barbie Engineering. Of the three-phase type, the motor provides the performance characteristics of a slip-ring motor without the use of slip rings or a complex starting gear. It is particularly easy to incorporate in the automatic control system of compressor sets, load-controlled pumps and so on. The motor is available in ratings of 1 h.p. to 60 h.p., whilst operating speeds vary from 750 r.p.m. to 3,000 r.p.m.
