fixtures of Dundee's two senior football teams was granted to R. Dickson, Jnr., Ltd., at a sitting of the Traffic Commissioners in Dundee. Mr. Dickson said the promotion of Dundee United F.C. to the First Division of the Scottish League had stimulated a demand to attend both home and away matches. The application was opposed by W. Alexander and Sons, Ltd. and British Railways.
Mr. D. Brown, for British Railways, suggested that perhaps Mr. Dickson was being optimistic about both Dundee and Dundee United F.C. remaining in the First Division.
