Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Ninth Annual General Meeting of The British Motor Corporation 13 to be held on December 14 at Longbridge Works, Birmingham. Following are some of the points made by the chairman, Sir Leonard Lord, in his statement already circulated to shareholders:

The average output of all vehicles increased by 3,600 a week and the total production was 669,122 in this one year —a record by a margin of no less than 32 per cent. over the previous best of 1957-8. The resulting turnover was also a record at 1346.000,000.

The total output of light commercial vehicles, including car derivatives, was 93,134 compared with 75.373 the previous year, an advance of 24 per cent., while the heavier vehicles of 1-ton load rating and upwards totalled 38,169 as against 25,616 last year, a 49 per cent. increase. This result followed the introduction of improved 1-11-ton L.D. vans, the successful new F.G. forward control cab on the 11-, 2-, 3and 4-ton models, and the new Series 200 truck.
