AN appeal to every candidate in the General Election to support the L7,1 00m. road programme proposed by the Morgan Report was launched by the Roads Campaign Council on Monday.
Published by the Council last October, the Report was prepared by Prof. E. V. Morgan, one of Britain's leading economists, of Swansea University. It called for a 15-year programme which would include 2,700 miles of motorway; urban motorways for every large town and city, and 1,000 extra off-street parking spaces (COMMERCIAL Morott, October 29, 1965).
