The Express Carrier Security Association (ECSA) will meet every three months "to pool information on security and other common industry issues". The security initiative has been launched by 11 member companies: ANC, Initial City Link, Federal Express, Hays Express Services, Nightspeed, Panic Link/Direct Express, Parcelforce Worldwide, Parceline, Securicor Omega Express, TNT and UPS. Richard Waltier, head of security at Parceline, has been appointed ECSA's first chairman.
