From Atkinson Vehicles comes a third edition of its Preventive Maintenance booklet and copies are now available.
The booklet contains a list of recommended preventive maintenance checks to be made at daily, weekly and monthly intervals; it also records suitable lubricants for engines, gearboxes, axles and other components used on Atkinson chassis. Oil and water capacities of various units are given.
Changes since the last edition relate mainly to the lubrication of David Brown, ZF, Self-Changing Gears, and Allison gearboxes. Products manufactured by Alexander Duckham and Co. Ltd. have been added to the tables of suitable lubricants.
