• Mr. Albert Stubbs, chairman of Fodens Ltd.. states that if the present business performance is maintained to the end of the year it "could establish records for all". During the financial year ended March 29 1969 overseas sales had increased by 27 per cent over last year.
Progress has been made at the new factory site which was planned for four 400ft long bays, three being 90ft and one 60ft wide. The first part of the bays are in commission. The 90ft bays are suitable for building cranecarrier chassis and large dumper trucks.
Group profit before taxation says the annual report, was £718,340 and net profit £424,798.
