• Crane Fruehauf Trailers announces an expansion to the Group factory at Dereham, Norfolk, The new works will be known as the Toftwood division. and the existing works as South Green division.
• The photograph taken at the Peterborough show of a bulk tipping semi-trailer, CM page 30 July 18, was incorrectly captioned. The picture showed a 2000.1100 series 1,030 cu.ft. tandemaxle Murfitt vehicle, with an aluminium body reputed to have a payload of 20 tons 3cwt. A dropside at the front on the left provides for unloading grain and feedstuffs when the vehicle is visiting confined premises.
