• Ford dealers are being asked to contact owners of 45,000 Transit 80, 100 and 120 models made between November 1985 and February 1988.
The vehicles are being recalled for reinforcement to the front suspension which, says Ford, might not be to the correct specification. The work will be carried out free and will take 11/2. hours.
