. coach driver is one of the most careful drivers to be found anywhere, and that a very small proportion of accidents is due to him," said Mr. R. L. Frank, solicitor to the Cornwall .Coach and Motor Users Association, at its annual dinner.

The Mayor of Truro, Mr. A. Richards, who is chairman of the Association, said that body had already promoted a better spirit among commercial-motor proprietors than formerly existed. reported that the Association had had a very successful year. It was becoming stronger both financially and numerically each year, the membership now standing at 54. Mr. Rogers referred to the valuable services of Mr. Frank, who had, during the year, represented members in 42 cases before the Traffic Commissioners.

Mr. Richards was re-elected chairman, Mr. H. Rosewarne (Porthleven) vice-chairman, Mr. Rogers secretary, and Mr. W. C. Taylor (Redruth) treasurer.
