for Allied Bakeries and Rank Hovis McDougall says that three of six union areas have accepted its offer for a 3% pay rise for the 2,000 drivers at the two firms.
The Federation of Bakers says the deal, which includes improvements to sick pay, has been accepted by South Wales, the South-West and East Anglia.
It is still negotiating with unions in the South-East and the North.
