Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

four Natotype electrical plugs. These have two knurled locking rings to keep out the water out of the plugs. On this vehicle the outer of the two rings had cracked in two, meaning that the plug had to be replaced.

This is not the nightmare that it might be, as each plug has a diagram of its terminals and colour codes stuck to the bulkhead above the plug. Failure to replace this plug will reward the operator with corroded terminals, and the need to replace both parts of the plug and unreliable electrics. A water repellent will help keep these plugs in good order.
