DISTRIBUTION consultant Davies and Robson of Croydon has appointed John Tiplady as a senior consultant.

Formerly a director of Whitbread London and of Thermalite, he has also held managerial appointments at Tunnel Cement, Rio Tinto Zinc, and Rockwool.

At Davies and Robson he will specialise in strategic planning and project implementation principally for the firm's industrial clients.
