Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DISCUSSIONS have taken place between the management of British Road Services and representatives of the TGWU and the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association with regard to the introduction of data processing techniques by the company.

It is the intention of BRS to purchase its own computer. Following normal practice the company will make every endeavour to train existing personnel in data processing techniques.

The practice of advertising vacancies would continue, but in the last resort it may be necessary to recruit staff of a highly technical nature from outside the industry.

BRS will follow a policy of man planning. Whilst it may be necessary for some redeployment of duties and posts it is intended to look at the situation far enough in advance to avoid inconvenience to staff. Whenever there is a possibility of the new techniques affecting staff, consultation will take place at all levels.
