Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BRITAIN led the world in motor 1--/ exports last year. Shipments exceeded those of the United States by 90,000 units. They were also greater, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders announced on Monday, than the combined exports of Germany, France and Italy.

Figures for last month show no lessening of effort. as British motor vehicles exported reached 50,00012,000 more than in January, 1954.

America led in commercial-vehicle exports last year, with 194,832 units, the United Kingdom following with 126,732. West Germany was third with 67,150, France fourth (30,647) arid Italy (3,378) fifth.

British output last month reached another peak rate with a total of 25,300 units in a four-week period.

THE complete reinstatement of all the services formerly operated by F. H. Kilner (Transport), Ltd., is planned by Mr. B. S. Williams. former managing director of Hants and Sussex Motor Services, Ltd.

Hants and Sussex, together with Southdown Motor Services, Ltd., and the London Transport Executive, are opposing the application.

It was reported in The Commercial Motor on December 17 last that F. H. Kilner were to be wound up. Their services from Horsham to Plaistow, Ewhurst and Crawley ceased operation on December 21.

Mr. Williams would also like to resume the 10-minute service between Horsham and Roffey. Residents affected by this service have submitted a petition to London Transport asking for its restoration.
