Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Next time you play Knight of the Road, you might care to hand out a

card to promote good will from car drivers. David Craik reports.

A SCHEME that its supporters believe will build goodwill between truck and car drivers is being launched by two internet truck forums.

Barrie Tozer, the founder of WWW. trucke rs world. co . u k , reports that he is teaming up with the team at wwwonlinetruckers.co.uk to produce an initial 500 cards for truck drivers to pass on to any motorist they help on the road as part of the scheme, which is called "Promote Truckers".

The cards will ask motorists helped by truckers to give to the charity of their choice. They also carry a vvebsite address where the motorists can send their thanks to the drivers who helped them and to the industry as a whole.

"It is surprising how often truckers help out motorists, either with directions or help at the side of the road, and a few 'thank yous' would be nice," says Tozer. "We never get any feedback and if we do it it could encourage more lorry drivers to help and build up a stronger bond between the two types of drivers."

The idea for the cards, which truckers will be able to get direct from Tozer from 28 August, came after a truckersworld's member gave £1 to a car driver to pay hi; toll on thc Dartford crossing. Now Tozer is cards because he fears he will not be able to finance their production beyond the initial batch. "Maybe an Eddie Stobart could put [heir name on the back," he says. "This system could really take off."
