!aiming to be the first man in Ireland to run the slinky new Scania 144L is Sean Delaney of Riverstown, Cork. Sean showed off the pride of his eight-vehicle all-Scania fleet at the Irish Road Haulage Association conference in Galway over Easter. Sean, who hauls meat and fish to Denmark, Italy and Holland, has been loyal to Scania for 21 unbroken years, citing "reliability and service" as the attractions which keep him locked in to one marque.Scania sold 420 vehicles to Ireland last year: "Similar sales to one big UK dealer," says export sales manager Peter Skogh, who was visiting the conference.
