Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• More than 50 people were evacuated from a Carlisle truckstop and two lanes of the M6 were closed when a restaurant went up in flames.

The blaze engulfed the southbound side of Southwaite Service Station, near Carlisle when a chip pan in the Burger King restaurant caught fire and flames spread to air ducts. The truckstop had to be evacuated for several hours until the blaze was put out. A southbound section of the M6 was reduced to one lane as thick smoke drifted across the carriageway. Carlisle fire brigade says the restaurant and roof was damaged by smoke, but things could have been worse if it had been a busier time.

Granada, owner of the truckstop, says the restaurant will reopen soon.
