"he company first started trading with joslavia in 1950 and up to two years there had been a steady but corn paratively small demand for Land-Rovers. Then, following the relaxation of the country's import restrictions, the first major single order for 250 Land-Rover station wagons was received which was followed soon afterwards by a further order for 452 vehicles. Demand has now reached such a high level that Yugoslavia has become the company's biggest European market for Land-Rovers.
At present there are about 4,500 LandRovers operating in this market and among the vehicle's main users are police forces, the engineering industry and electricity authorities.
