• Less than two months after switching its Leeds depot to a larger site in a 2400,000 move, national and international haulier Cave Wood has opened a new transit depot near Leeds worth some 2.300,000.

The latest site, at Broughton Astley, is part of a programme of expansion and business consolidation, says Cave Wood. The 2,8000 Crossgates site will be used as a consolidation and distribution centre.

Late last year Cave Wood bought its High Wycombe headquarters, having previously rented the property. It now employs over 200 staff and has a fleet of 63 trucks and 147 trailers.
