Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Short wheelbase versions of the Ford Transit van now have higher gross weight ratings. The biggest increase is on the 12cwt which has stronger rear springs and 7.00 instead of 6.50in. tyres and the gross weight goes up 3031b, which gives a nominal payload of 14cwt.

In the case of the 17 and 22cwt models there are no specification changes but a 201Ib increase in g.v.w. allows an increase in payload to 18cwt for the 17cwt and, while the nominal payload rating of the 22cwt stays the same, there is a 104Ib increase in g.v.w. for this model.
