A PICTURE of an ERF commercial vehicle appeared in our Farm Transport supplement of September 28, with the caption "Leasing can help farmers use modern vehicles such as this ERF M-Series."
The illustration showed an ERF in use on a farm in the livery of Mr A. E. Goldstraw of Artie Brook Farm, Stapeley, near Nantvvich.
Mr Goldstraw wishes us to make it clear that in his case the vehicle was, in fact, purchased outright and not leased.
Our caption did not infer that the particular vehicle shown was leased — it merely indicated, as the article discussed, thal leasing was one of the perfectly acceptable and respectable alternatives open to a farmer who wished to acquire such equipment.
