Berlin's Street-cleansing Department.

In time annual report issue by

Motor Conveyances for Workmen.

A firm of leather makers in the German town of liVeinheim have hit upon a novel method of making up for the lack of public conveyances between the works and Trosel, where a number of their workmen reside: they rig up a freight lorry and two trailers morning and night, and carry the Trosel contingent in them to and from Weinheim for a mark (one shilling) weekly. As Trtisel is foiir miles distant, the penny fare cannot be described as exorb i tmint.
