BIFFA WASTE Services has submitted an application for a new operating centre in Manchester authorising 10 vehicles and eight trailers. The request to the North West Traffic Area Office comes just two months after it applied for an increase to its authorisation at its Coalville, Leicestershire centre. The company recently announced it had recycled more than 250 tonnes of customers’ waste cooking oil this year in order to power its LGVs.
