Rigid vehicles may travel at up to 70mph on motorways, 60mph on dual carriageways, and 50mph on other roads. The few articulated buses and coaches in Britain are restricted to 60mph on motorways and are banned from third lanes where they exist.
The Freight Transport Association is producing windscreen stickers which are available for £1.50 plus vat per sheet of 10 (£2 plus vat to non-members), and for E7 plus vat (£9.50 plus vat to non-members) for any five sheets.
