Keywords : Nailsworth

• A Gloucestershire haulier says he is the victim of 'rough justice" following a £600 fine for entering a restricted road just 39 minutes before the ban finished. Edric Goulding, director of Goulding's of Nailsworth, says the incident was a genuine mistake and he is disgusted that it has cost him so much.

One of his drivers was stopped on the Romford Road just off the North Circular in London at 06:91hrs, last month. The restrictions for HGVs finish at 07:00hrs. 'Its just a way of getting money out of law-abiding people like us," he says. "There are plenty of companies out there getting away with blue murder."
