Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

i.TAggs SHAPE

THE ASSOCIATION of Vehicle Recovery Operators is the proposed name of a CM-sponsored organisation, set up to bring together Britain's expert rescue companies.

Chairman John Wells told the meeting that the task ahead was to draw up a framework for the proposed association of people and companies involved in vehicle rescue. The committee was drawn up at a CM seminar in May.

The association, formed as a registered company limited by guarantee, will have the Memorandum and Articles of the Road Haulage Association amended to suit its own requirements.

Membership will be open to individuals, companies and firms engaged in vehicle recovery, and there will be associate membership available to interested parties not actually engaged in breakdown work.

The proposed structure would consist of eight or 10 geographical regions with their own chairmen and representatives on a Central Executive Council.

It is estimated that running costs for the first year would be about £8,000.

Now a recruiting drive is under way in a bid to get as many people to join the association as possible. But it has been made clear that applicants will be closely vetted before being accepted.
