Discussions between the. Union and the employers' side of the National Joint Industrial Council for the road haulage industry on this problem have continued. Employers recognized that a change in ownership. of the majority of long-distance vehicles increase of 10s. a week in the wages of all adult workers will be considered again at a meeting of the Road Haulage Wages Council on June 28.
