Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LAST Thursday we received the "Journal of the Year" award at a presentation in Quadrant House, Sutton. CM was voted "Journal of the Year" by a panel of independent judges.

The criteria on which the judges based their decision were principally editorial content, balance and presentation.

CM is Europe's leading weekly road transport journal and this latest accolade confirms our view that the editorial policy of the publication is correct.

The editorial policy of CM can be simply stated. It is to keep our readers informed of the latest operational, technical and legal developments in road transport; to assist in these developments; and to act as an education medium.

Our main readers are proprietors of goods and passenger road transport companies and their operating and technical staffs; vehicle, component and accessory manufacturers; and distributors and dealers.

CM's content embraces road transport, distribution and warehousing news and legal and financial matters. We examine, analyse and comment on the engineering and technical developments in the industry.

CM road tests every new vehicle produced in the UK and many from overseas. These analytical tests are conducted in operational conditions by highly qualified technicians. The tests are recognised as objective and authoritative by both manufacturers and users.

We employ correspondents at Brussels and Westminster and have regular contributions from financial, legal and educational experts. Our permanent staff are, in the main, practical transport men.

The editorial content of CM is a matter which we continually make our prime concern. Without this and our readers, we have nothing.
