A Vauxhall Motors service engineer, Keith Ransom, demonstrates fuel system adjustments on a Bedford VAS chassis to members of the Commonwealth Expedition—Comex 4. The expedition, travelling in Bedford /Duple coaches, leaves at the end of this month an a 17,500-mile journey to Pakistan, India, Ceylon, Malaysia and Singapore. At their training camp near Aldershot crew members were instructed in routine maintenance and simple emergency repairs. General Motors' Bedford dealers along the route have been alerted to assist in any more complex service requirements.
