• The National Guild of Transport Managers has announced that it has established the grade of Associate to enable the younger element in the industry and those in training for management posts to be admitted to the Guild. Previously membership was open only to those managers who would qualify for a TML when the regulations bringing the licence into force are made. The grade of Associate will be open to anybody likely to qualify for a TML within three years.
