Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Eight new Fodens were exhibited, along with one old steamer, by Rowlands of Sittingbourne at the Kent Show, held on July 15 and 16 at Detling, near Maidstone. On show were two tractive units and an eight-wheeler tipper for the Consolidated Goldfields Group, and tractive units for A. and R. J. Wood (2), Spencer King Ltd ( I) and Underwood and Penfold Ltd (2), the latter pair being the first Fodens in Kent with the new S40 all-steel suspension cab. The model is the 4AC 6/32 with Cummins NHK 205 engine, I2-speed gearbox and 5-ton front and 10-ton rear axles. Overhead worm and wheel differential, power-assisted steering and 10 X 20 16-ply tyres are features.

The semi-trailer shown in the Underwood outfit was a York BC34 fitted with a 28ft Pen gco monocoque 30 cu yd steel body, used for steel outwards from Kent to the Midlands and aggregates on return.
