• Grain D'Or, a new bread company specialising in baking french and crusty bread, has been supplied with a contracthired fleet of 13 vehicles by BRS Southern.
BRS supplied the company with 12 7.5 tonne box vans, plus one small delivery van, under a full maintenance, five year contract hire agreement. The reliability of the vehicles has been met with "guaranteed availability" through spare vehicle provision and in addition the vehicles are provided with membership of AA/BRS rescue.
The London-based company started operations in mid-October and is already delivering daily to more than 60 retail outlets north of the Thames. It plans to start national distribution in the near future.
