Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Nor Ray Vac Ltd. has recently produced a special version of the company's infra-ray gas heating system for a new factory extension in Bradford of Hindle Auto Products Ltd.

The extension is 180ft long and 40ft wide and has a mean height of 17ft. heat being provided by 10 units fitted in five legs. Suspended under polished aluminium reflectors, mounted 14ft above floor level, each unit fires into a combustion chamber and the units are joined by a 2-kin. diameter mild steel pipe. Mounted at the end of a common manifold and tail pipe linking the sections, a small vacuum pump draws in gas and air for combustion at each burner unit. It then pulls the products of combustion through the pipes, finally discharging them outside the building.

An important point influencing Hindle Auto Products Ltd., in deciding to use Nor Ray Vac, was that the whole system is completely sealed from the room. Consequently there are no venting problems and moisture laden products of combustion cannot be released into the building. Any possibility of condensation damage is thus eliminated and no odour is produced.

The entire system is thermostatically controlled, day and night. A clock control switches the system over from day running (60deg F) to night running (45deg F) at 6 p.m. each day and back to day running at 6 a.m.

A uniform heat is provided over the entire working area with no hot or cold spots or draughts. With infra-red heating, rays travel in divergent straight lines from the heat source to all surfaces and raise the temperature of floors and machines without wasting energy in heating the atmosphere.
